BUILD MUSCLE; BURN FAT

I've been in a constant battle between gaining muscle and burning fat. I told myself cardio is completely out of the question because I want to bulk up. I feel as though both fitness goals are hard to achieve at the moment maybe because I'm just too darn stubborn to do any sort of cardio. I'm building up the courage to change my work out a little bit by adding HIIT into my routine 2 times a week.

SAMPLE HIIT CARDIO WORKOUTS

  1. Add more high-intensity intervals.
  2. Lengthen the time you do each high-intensity interval.
  3. Lengthen your workout so that it includes more intervals. Intervals should be all-out intensity, but beginners don't have to push themselves quite that hard.
