I was so unbelievably blessed to attend adidas' Fitness X event this past Saturday! I honestly felt like this was much needed for me to attend because I met some amazing women to share this experience with. The event was jammed pack with boss babes. Diversity was among this group of women as there was fitness bloggers, athletes, DJs and Instagrammers. The love for fitness was our common denominator and breaking stereotypes was our goal.

It all started in Santa Monica at the Pier. The weather was definitely not the best, but Ashley Guarassi, who led the work out, pushed us so hard, we couldn't tell if it was sweat or the rain that was coming down on us. I honestly didn't even bother doing my hair knowing the location and how the weather gets.

The cold weather wasn't an issue with the work out Ashley planned for us. It was a cross between high intensity training mixed with shadow boxing. Side note: Ashley and I literally started following each other on Instagram not knowing we were going to meet at this event! She's such a bad ass with a heart of gold.

This was not your typical fitness event. Part of the experience was focusing on our creativity. In order to get in touch with our creativity, we had to run. Our second event was running to Stone Candle to create our very own candle.

We had hundreds of scents to choose from, but my boring ass only chose pineapple (can't go wrong with some pineapple!). What I loved about the candles is that it is made from coconut wax & it came in a black candle holder.

Getting more in tune with our styling skills, we ran to our next activity... arranging succulents! We had the pleasure of getting in one with nature at The Leaf & Petal Co. I actually am IN LOVEEEE with my arrangement! I feel like it really resonates well with my style, because I'm all about subtly with a pop of color.

In the end, we were rewarded with a healthy meal at True Foods Kitchen. I've been wanting to try this place out and glad I got the chance to! The food was amazingly good and you can tell they made it with love. I got to know more about the ambassadors and hear their story. It definitely kept me motivated to keep moving along with my journey!
